Dearest Astoria:
Upon our return from the Horologium, I realized something. It's perfectly within your varied capabilities to spruce this place up for the good of us all... Including yourself. As it is right now, there's PAINFULLY little to do to refresh for our next adventure. And I can't even relax with this barren sense of decor! (Though the flowers are a welcome touch.) I find I'm uniquely qualified, as a robot of business and style myself, to provide you with a list of features to implement to make your temple more beautiful and functional. I know you want the best for us. That's why it would be beneficial to furnish the temple with extended amenities to enhance our experience, while we await our upcoming missions. A well-rested patron is a happy one, who will perform SPLENDIDLY when you need them to. I guarantee that you'll see a rise in mission successes if you take into consideration the comforts of this dedicated group.
I took it upon myself to interview a few willing circle members. To probe for what they thirst for during their stay. Here is what I came up with:
- A stage/performance hall for us performative individuals (myself, Sheryl, Amadeus, etc...). A way to express oneself is crucial!!!! And it's a fabulous way to entertain others. - Room service, for the delivery of foods, amenities, and anything their hearts desire, on command. - More glitter in the available food. It's proven to stoke one's appetite. - A substantial library stocked with books for the book fans, and movies for the movie fans. - A theater with cushy chairs, and a television/projector to watch movies together. Without this, having movies are pointless! Think of the bonding opportunities. Watching your favorite movie is much more exciting when you can share it with everyone. - The bright colors are a step in the right direction! Try color coordinating things, now. A place like this could do with some golds, blues, browns, greens... pinks. But gold leaves the most regal statement. I'm a fan. I'm sure you can do it. - Some way to obtain or create new weaponry. A store vending such goods would suffice... but the ability to create weapons would also do. (Your call, Astoria!!! Get creative!) - A statue of Mettaton in the bathhouse. - Expanded training options, beyond possessed training dummies. - Somewhere to obtain new clothes. Humans in particular appreciate the ability to express themselves through their wardrobe. These cotton uniforms you've provided are NOT fashionable, nor are they unique. I've heard that some of these people have been here for a year. A year without stylish new clothes? Really? I can't imagine it... And I don't even wear clothes save for special occasions! This is a must.
As you can see, venues intended for entertainment are critical for humans, monsters, robots, and anything in-between to thrive. We also need more ways to express ourselves... as well as visually appealing things to admire. For example, that memorial you placed in the center of the lake was a good move. Beautiful... And functional, for those who wish to reminisce. And that festival provided entertainment enough to ease our troubles after our return. You've got the right ideas! That's why I have faith in your ability to reach for a five-star experience.
On a related note: Firo requested more forewarning about future deliveries to new worlds. For the purpose of preparation... Both physical and mental. I'm sure you understand. Can you do that?

Mettaton! ♥ Sorry this took so long . . . my attention is divided, before I send you all on your adventures, but I promise I pay attention. Or I try to! I hope you had fun in Faerun. ♥ The Temple has taken up much of my time and effort, with . . . the Horologium, and trying to find out what is going on here . . . but I have thought about your suggestions.
Thank you very much for your requests! I'm afraid I can only do so much with what I have . . . forewarning about worlds is a bit difficult, but I can try to give you a slight clue! I feel some level of . . . cold. I can only feel what I am connected to, and I am beginning to feel a large amount of darkness in a far off world that seems to be dealing with some weather malfunctions . . .
As for your requests! I am sorry it took so long; the Void and the Rift are acting a little oddly, and I was focused on sending you to a new world, and I missed your note. But I am working on it now!!
- I like the idea of a stage! Allow me some time to be able to try and find something to create. I can have something ready for you through the next world. A place for music, and art!
- The unseen servants will bring you food if you ask them nicely for it. :)
- I am not sure they can bring you glitter, though. :(
- What is a television? :(
- I can try to make things more colorful, but the Temple tends to be more in control of what it looks like than I am!

[Oh, Mettaton had fun all right. So much fun, in fact, that he hardly remembered that he'd left some correspondence for Astoria prior to his departure. He didn't remember the Temple of Beginnings, in fact. He didn't remember his body. It was the first time he felt the strange physical pull back to the Temple, and he even forgot to consider that it would be the last thing he might feel. It was back to being a robot for him.

However. I will not stand for your lacking knowledge of television. You sent us to the Horologium, a ship with an abundance of advanced tech... Yet you don't know TV? This explains a lot. Such as the temple's lack of electricity. Fortunately, you are writing to none other than the Underground's premier television star, Mettaton. Television is a revolutionary medium for entertainment, advertising, news, and any other broadcast you could dream of. Think of it as a magical box... With a screen, where you can watch riveting stories and dramatic scenes unfold. Like a stage play, or a broadway show within the convenience of your own home. Amazing, isn't it? People love it! There are TV programs like game shows, cooking shows, soap operas, musicals, dramas, thrillers, sports programs, news segments, cartoons... The possibilities are endless.
